Rat Girl
These stencils have been popping up in the Heights lately. She’s kind of got a rodent face, but she’s also kind of hot. I’m lovin’ the open fly.

So technically I shouldn’t even be posting on this, since these new mailboxes are 1) not really street art and 2) sanctioned by The Man, but what the hell… I really think the new R2D2 boxes are kind of cool. Heads up to Abrahan Garza for hipping me to this one on San Felipe.

Underneath that smiley face on HWY 59 there’s a curious, crude stencil.

The same stencil can also be seen behind Empire Cafe, near a decent diamond, not to mention that gas mask we looked at last week.

A couple of months ago I harangued a bit on the addition of a crooked-ass smiley face to one of those red balls on the bridges across HWY 59. One of my main beefs was with the artist’s utter lack of talent. Well, another smiley face has been added and I have to say: It ain’t bad.

Seen across the street from Brasil on Dunlavy. I’m not sure exactly why these photos came out so crooked and off-center. Swear I was sober.

Those eyes and that beard are basically a Yar! trademark.
