I was at the MOCA last weekend, and I watched a couple guys on a cherry-picker painting a mural of coffins covered in dollar bills. Little did I know one of those guys was probably Blu, the famous Italian street artist. I also had no idea the mural would be painted over before it even had its formal unveiling. No one predicted that, least of all the artist, who apparently was not pleased.
These signs are all over Interstate 5 between Los Angeles and Sacramento. I’d love to hear about the committee decision to go back later and add the second sign on top. Were people not getting the message before?
